Coverage We Help You Choose
We work with individual health insurance, family health insurance and ACA Marketplace plans for people who buy their own coverage. We also help with dental insurance, vision insurance and accident insurance, either on their own or added to a health plan. Each one has its own fine print, so we go through it with you line by line. You leave knowing what you're paying for and what you're not.

Individual Health Insurance
Coverage for one person, chosen by looking at the premium, the deductible and the out-of-pocket max together, not the monthly price alone.

Family Health Insurance
One plan for parents and kids, picked by what the whole year costs once deductibles, copays and doctor networks are added in.

ACA Marketplace Plans
Help picking a Marketplace plan, checking your tax credit and comparing bronze, silver and gold tiers by what they cost over a full year.

Dental Insurance
Compare dental plans by waiting periods, yearly caps and network, so the premium you pay matches the dental work you'll actually use.

Vision Insurance
We weigh vision plan premiums against what you spend on exams, glasses and contacts over a few years, so you only pay for coverage you will use.

Accident Insurance
A plan that pays you cash after a covered injury, so a broken wrist or urgent care visit does not eat your savings while you meet your deductible.
How Working With Us Goes
Most clients finish in one or two conversations. You can talk with us by phone, by video or at our office.
- 1
Give us a call
Tell us who needs coverage, where you live and what you're paying now, if anything. There's no cost and no pressure to buy on the first call.
- 2
We ask about how you use care
We go over your doctors, the medications you take, any planned visits and what monthly budget feels right. This is what lets us compare cost over a full year instead of just the sticker price.
- 3
You see options side by side
We put a few plans from different carriers next to each other. For each one you see the monthly cost, the deductible, the most you could pay in a year and which doctors are in network. Then we say which one we'd pick and why.
- 4
We handle the enrollment
Once you choose, we complete the enrollment with you and make sure the start date is right. If you have questions after your cards arrive, call us back.

Why Clients Work With Us
A low premium can turn into a bad deal the first time you need care. We look at the whole picture before you sign.
- We price out a real year
- We add up the premium, the deductible and the copays for the visits you actually expect. Sometimes the plan with the higher monthly bill costs less by December. We show you the math so you can see it yourself.
- More than one carrier on the table
- We aren't tied to a single carrier. You get side-by-side options from several of them in one conversation.
- Nothing out of your pocket for our help
- Sitting down with us won't cost you a dime. Our pay comes from the company whose plan you end up enrolling in, never from you.
- We check your doctors and medications first
- A plan is only worth it if your doctors are in the network and your medications are covered. We look those up before we recommend anything.
- Still here at renewal
- Premiums and networks change every year. When renewal comes, we look again and tell you plainly if staying put still makes sense.
What Drives Your Premium and What You Spend All Year
Two households on the same street can pay very different amounts for coverage. Some causes you control and some you don't. Here is what moves both your monthly premium and what you spend once you use care.
We don't post prices here, because your number depends on everything above. We gather those details on a call and bring back real quotes from the carriers.
- Your age and tobacco use
- Premiums on individual and Marketplace plans can go up as you get older. Tobacco use can raise the price too.
- Metal level and deductible
- Bronze keeps the monthly bill low, but you pay more before the plan begins to share costs. Gold costs more each month and less per visit. Silver falls between them and, at certain incomes, comes with extra help on out-of-pocket costs.
- Network type
- HMO, EPO and PPO plans each have their own rules on which doctors you can see and when a referral is needed. Wider networks usually cost more per month.
- Your income
- On ACA Marketplace plans, premium tax credits are based on the income you expect for the year. A good estimate helps you avoid paying some back at tax time.
- Who is on the plan
- Adding a spouse or children changes the premium and the family deductible. Sometimes a separate plan for the kids is cheaper, so we quote it both ways.
- Extra coverage
- Dental, vision and accident plans each carry their own premium on top of your health plan. Many dental plans also wait a set period before paying for bigger work.

A Small Agency That Does the Homework
We work with clients across St. Petersburg and the rest of southern Pinellas County. People reach out when they lose job-based coverage, start a business, get married, have a baby or just get tired of a plan that costs too much for what it gives back.
Our approach is simple. We look past the monthly premium and figure out what a plan will really cost you over the year, then we tell you straight. If your current plan is still the best fit, we'll say so.

Questions We Hear Most
Something not covered here? (727) 349-5211
How do you get paid if the consultation is free?
The carrier you enroll with pays us. You owe nothing for our review, and your premium is the same whether you go through us or sign up on your own.
Is there a deadline to get health coverage?
For most plans, there is. Open enrollment each fall is the main time to sign up. The rest of the year, a life event such as losing other coverage, moving, getting married or having a baby can open a special enrollment period. Tell us what changed and we'll check whether you can enroll now.
Is the plan with the lowest premium the best pick?
Often it isn't. A small premium usually means a big deductible, so every visit costs you more. If you rarely see a doctor, that can work. If you have steady visits or ongoing medications, a higher premium may cost less over twelve months. We figure both totals for you.
Can I keep seeing my current doctor?
That depends on the network of each plan. We look up your doctors and mark which plans include them before we recommend one. If a particular doctor matters to you, tell us at the start.
Is there help paying for an ACA plan?
Many people qualify. Premium tax credits on ACA Marketplace plans are based on your income and the number of people on your tax return. We go over the income you expect and show what the credit does to your monthly cost.
Do I need a separate dental or vision plan?
Health plans for adults usually cover very little dental or vision care. Separate dental insurance or vision insurance can be worth it if you get regular cleanings, use glasses or contacts, or expect bigger dental work. We check waiting periods and yearly caps so you see what you'd actually get back.
What makes accident insurance different from a health plan?
After a covered injury, such as a broken bone or an accident-related hospital visit, accident insurance pays cash to you. You can use it for a deductible, copays or everyday bills while you heal. It sits next to a health plan and does not take its place.
